Our archives also contain publications relating to the history of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, and the University of Pittsburgh as a whole. The Library contains incomplete archives of the Tribune-Review on microfilm from October 1955-December 2020. Visit the library during regular hours to search the microfilm collection. There is no printer available. Please bring a USB flash drive to save the microfilm images you find. Please note that not all deaths in Westmoreland County are included in the Tribune-Review, nor is it indexed.
You may also request copies of death notices, articles, and other information via email or phone (724-836-9687). Requests for searching the Tribune-Review are subject to a $40 per hour charge whether or not we find the information. Please allow 3 business days for us to process each search request.
Note: If you have an exact date for a single item and the information is found immediately, we will send you one copy free of charge for personal use only. Charges will apply for individuals conducting genealogical or legal research.
