There are more ways and places to share your scholarship today than ever before. We can help you identify venues for sharing your research and prepare your work for publication, whether that’s with a traditional publisher or using a digital platform.
Omeka ("Oh-meh-kah") is a web-based platform for creating public digital exhibits. It can be used to organize and present research materials such as photographs and multimedia. In addition to showcasing individual items, Omeka offers multiple ways of linking items together into collections and highly visual exhibits. While free hosting options exist, the ULS supports Pitt affiliates in hosting Omeka exhibits through a Platinum-tier subscription to Omeka.net.
