Kornelia Tancheva is the Hillman University Librarian and Director of the University of Pittsburgh Library System, a position that she has held since 2017. Prior to that she worked at Cornell University Library. She holds a PhD in drama from Cornell, an MA in English language and literature from Sofia University in Bulgaria and an MLIS from Syracuse University. When not redesigning library services, spaces, and programming, she enjoys teaching drama and theatre.
