Lauren Dunn Rockart is an architect with a career dedicated to higher education. She particularly enjoys the transformation of obsolete campus assets, and the design of engaging new places for faculty, staff, and students. Her practice includes leading projects for Lord Aeck Sargent and since 2020, serving as Duke’s University Architect, advising the institution on capital planning and design and ensuring that the campus endures as a collection of memorable places.

A member of the American Institute of Architects, Rockart holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
