Emily Daly serves as Associate University Librarian for Research and Public Services at the Duke University Libraries in Durham, NC.  Emily has been deeply involved in the Lilly Library Renovation and Expansion Project since 2022.  In her 20 years at Duke, Emily has served in a number of departments and roles, including Research & Instructional Services and Assessment & User Experience, a department that she helped establish.  Prior to working at Duke, Emily taught high school English and worked in public and high school libraries.  Emily received a BA in English/secondary education from NC State University and an MS in library science from UNC–Chapel Hill.  She is a fellow in the 2025-2026 ARL Leadership Fellows Program cohort.
