Shari Rosenstein Werb directs the Center for Learning, Literacy and Engagement at the Library of Congress, leading initiatives to connect audiences of all ages with the Library’s collections and experts through cultural programming and outreach. She spearheaded The Source, a new experiential research gallery for youth. Previously, at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, Werb directed education and the visitor experience, creating Q?rius, a nationally recognized science education center. She also spent 17 years leading public and educational programs at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Werb holds degrees from Bank Street Graduate School of Education and Boston University.
