Kelley Lawton holds an MLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MA in Archival Management from North Carolina State University. She currently serves as the Head of the East Campus Libraries at Duke University. Kelley oversees the public service activities of the Lilly and Music Libraries and is heavily involved in engagement and outreach, particularly to the first-year students who call East Campus home. She is also deeply engaged in the Lilly Renovation and Expansion Project, which after many years, is close to completion, with a projected reopening in January 2027.
