Jason Battles is Dean of Libraries at the University of Arkansas, where he led the $40M renovation of Mullins Library which was transformational project introducing new technology spaces, highlighting unique collections, and expanding student areas, all while rebuilding the 120 FTE organization and driving the fundraising to support it. Now in his sixth year, he has also overseen significant personnel and collection growth. Previously, as Deputy University Librarian at the University of Georgia, he contributed to over half a dozen renovation projects at UGA, including an award-winning Carnegie Library restoration. He holds master's degrees in Library Science and History from the University of Alabama.
