As a Practice Leader, Alan is focused on building strong client relationships and delivering impactful design solutions. He brings extensive experience in the planning and design of Higher Education facilities, including libraries, and leading projects that range from strategic studies and space assessments to major renovation and expansion initiatives. Having completed more than 60 planning and design assignments totaling over $750M in completed academic and student life facilities, Alan is known for creating flexible, user-centered environments that support lifelong learning, community engagement, and evolving student generational expectations.
