ULS Awarded Grant from the CLIR Recordings at Risk Program

The Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR) Recordings at Risk program has awarded a $36,826 grant to the University of Pittsburgh Library System (ULS) to digitize five Pittsburgh area oral history collections held by the Archives and Special Collections Department.

Photo to Fabric: An Art for August x C4C x ULS Program

On Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. hear weaver and fiber artist LaVerne Kemp discuss her Art for August artwork “Red Hot Jazz” and learn how to transfer your own photograph or archival image to fabric, sew a small pillow, and create simple embellishments by hand.
