Ask Us to Buy Films

You can make requests that we purchase physical and streaming visual media using this form. Please submit this form for each film that you are requesting.

  • Please check to make sure your title is not already available in the ULS collections by searching PittCat.
  • For films that are required viewing for a course, Classroom Services at the Teaching Center is accepting requests to convert media content into a cloud-based format. Please use this form to ask us to first confirm the content you need is not already existing in a University-owned streaming format or available for acquisition through a streaming media distributor.  
  • The ULS does not acquire Public Performance Rights (PPR) for films, nor does it manage PPR obtained by individuals within the University. It is the responsibility of the film user to assess their PPR requirements and ensure compliance.
