Exchange Program
- The University of Pittsburgh has an active exchange program with hundreds of other research and academic libraries around the world
- We exchange duplicate material we have received for items that we are in need of from other libraries
- Often material that we receive via exchange is unable to be obtained any other way (i.e. it cannot be purchased, is out-of-print, or is otherwise difficult to find)
- The majority of institutions with which we have exchanges are in Latin America, Eastern Europe and East Asia
