The Alldred Collection is a popular browsing collection of fiction and non-fiction titles and is updated weekly.

This collection includes:

• contemporary fiction
• popular non-fiction including travel, biographies, film studies, popular science and current events

The Alldred Collection is housed in the Cup and Chaucer Café, located on the First Floor of Hillman Library.  

Borrowing

• For University of Pittsburgh faculty, staff, and students, the Alldred Collection books circulate for 4 weeks with a maximum renewal period of 8 weeks. 
• For ULS Special borrowers, books circulate for 2 weeks with a maximum renewal period of 4 weeks.
