Alumni, welcome to YOUR new Hillman Library!
As we begin the final phase of the Hillman Library Reinvention and renovation, we invite you to learn more about the exciting new spaces already in place. Until we see you in person, explore some of the highlights of the renovated floors of Hillman:
The third floor:
- The new Archives & Special Collections space contains significant physical and digital exhibition space, an expansive reading room, and a large classroom, allowing for hands-on interaction with collection materials. The Archives space is home to our flagship August Wilson Archive, the George A. Romero Archive, and many others! Take a virtual tour of Archives & Special Collections!

- The third floor is also home to the Text/ConText Lab. The Text & conText Lab, a Center for Creativity/University Library System partnership on the Third Floor of Hillman Library, provides an active environment for creating, manipulating, and/or disassembling text. Text & conText features a Vandercook proof press and opportunities for bookbinding, papermaking, and much more. Visit during library open hours or take a virtual tour! (T&cT Lab tour).
