What is Resource Sharing? It’s a collaboration between libraries to lend materials to each other thus expanding the range of accessible research materials that are available to you! If materials are not available at Pitt Libraries, they may be supplied by one of Pitt’s many partner institutions worldwide at no charge to you. This service ensures that your academic needs are supported by a wealth of materials from libraries around the world.
If a resource is not owned or available by Pitt follow the link to request a scan or the physical item.
Note: You must be logged into PittCat to initiate the request.
These partners include EZBorrow which searches PALCI libraries in Pennsylvania and contiguous states. If not available via EZBorrow the search moves on to Interlibrary Loan (ILL) which searches nationally and internationally.
If you cannot find a resource in PittCat you can place a request with the Resource Sharing Form you need:
Journal Article/Conference Paper
Book/Thesis
Book Chapter
Serial on Microform
Audio/Video Recording
Standards Document
Availability of service may vary during holiday and interim periods.
