ULS joins Digital Library Federation

The Digital Library Federation is a community of archives, libraries, publishers, labs, museums, professional organizations, and vendors who "advance research, learning, social justice, and the public good through the creative design and wise application of digital library technologies." (https://www.diglib.org/)

By joining the DLF, the ULS is supporting and participating in a highly active, dedicated community working together to develop digital libraries. DLF is distinguished in part by its focus on both the social and technical aspects of digital libraries, evidenced by its many working groups and affiliates, its organizers toolkit, training programs like the eResearch Network and its partnership with the Digital Humanities Summer Institute, as well as a strong communication communications network including a comprehensive Community Calendar.

We also look forward to welcoming the DLF for their 2017 DLF Forum in Pittsburgh this October.
